i Pad Revolution - Creative Solution - i Pad/My Pad

Technology has influenced my approach in teaching the visual arts.  Converting lessons and projects to Power Points, web blogs, and videos has improved the learning and teaching curve.  With the invention of touch iPad another tool for the artist and art educator has surfaced and made a wonderful addition to the educators technology arsenal.  The touch screen is natural and extremely versatile for image makers and musicians.  The SketchBook Pro drawing/painting application allows for alterations of colors, textures, lines, shapes, etc. without much effort.  I thoroughly enjoy the subtle variations in chalk.  Choices with imagery can be solidified with a few touches on the pad!  What a time-saver and decision maker!  No real paper, no real pencil, no real paint or chalk, just your finger.  It's portable and quick.  So if you are in the mood to create without the mess, this is a great way to work.  You can save all your imagery and sketches to change and alter at a later date!  More to come from the iPad touch!
